Step 1: Extract Data Model from Instance
Due to problems with CORS, the Table API can not be used from within the browser and proxying via the server is a no go as none of your instance data should run through foreign servers.

Therefor a JSON outputting script is provided, allowing you to paste the result in the next step.
To run the script, open /sys.scripts.do on your instance or run the Module "Scripts - Background" in Application "System Definition"
Step 2: Import Extracted Data Model
Data Model Explorer — Help

Scroll or use pinch gesture to zoom.

Click on a node (table) to show the menu of options.

Hover over a node to view a node's or edge's detail.

The bigger a node is, the more often it is related; therefor bigger nodes play a bigger role.

Quick-filter groups by selecting a group on the right-hand side.

Groups are groups due to a mutual extension tree or due to a name prefix by a (base) table occuring in a tables name.

Sometimes filtering resultes in a huge number (> 350) of nodes (e.g. group cmdb has over 500 belonging nodes). Those filter results aren't re-rendered but the view is really just filtered.

Data Model Explorer

This tool presents the database structure in the form of nodes and edges visualizing the Data Model interactively.

Scroll or use pinch gesture to zoom. Click on nodes (tables) to drill in – you have several options for drilling in. Bigger nodes play a bigger role.

This tool doesn't store any information from or about you, nor is your data processed besides standard HTTP protocol data for communication. It runs entirely in your browser.
